well well well its time to dust off the blog and get up on the horse again.

For the past 2 years and about 3mths I have been pursuing my law degree and im almost at the end yeah!!!. This morning I would like to take a look at Barbados and their shows, concerts, events activities we were once considered "a nation of shows".

Within Barbados I have been to a couple of the shows mostly the Reggae and the Soca shows, while you're in attendance there is this sense of unity everybody party's together and just have a good time. Bajans love a good show doesn't matter what the bills look like at home, the girls will come out to all with their hair fixed, nails fixed, eyebrow and outfit on point. I guess its a way to just forget about the stresses of life and just enjoy the moment, ohhh how sometimes we wish we could live in that moment forever.

me and my partner dwayne

I had the opportunity to represented my Parish Christ Church nationally at The Spirit of the Nation Show in 2014, a year long program with a big show at the end. The night went in a flash, a whole year of hard work and a harder show night, this year long program made me realise quite a bit about myself, how I deal with pressure, my social skills, interviewing skills and just my plain ole bajan on bajan interaction. It was one of the longest years of my life but I thank God for being my rock, my family and friends for being my sandy sandy beach and the lovely partner I had Dwayne for being a calming sea and together it was like a beach day everyday with a few thunder storms every now and again, I have met people that will be my friends for a lifetime and I wouldn't have changed a thing about the experience.

Happily
